On Irony in place names

I am currently in a town that exists right next to another town. And by right next to I mean that they are touching. There is one street that divides the one town from the other and it's all developed in a way that you wouldn't know if it weren't for some giant signs. The hilarious things is that the road dividing these towns is called Union street. Now that is ironic
